Telephone Donations Service

Spoke has supported ITV and UNICEF’s flagship charity event with an automated donation telephony service, allowing viewers to donate any amount securely by phone while maximising contributions through high gift-aid opt-in rates. Voiced by Dermot O’Leary and built to PCI DSS standards, the service delivers a simple, trusted donation experience. Spoke’s scalable platform also enabled the Appreciation Station feature, letting callers donate while speaking with celebrities live. Since launch, telephone donations have increased year on year, with strong gift-aid performance driving additional funds for UNICEF.

“Nation Broadcasting has worked with Spoke since 2022.Spoke provide interactive games via premium rate SMS to our group radio stations and have provided several mechanics which enable us to generate revenues from this activity. We are currently running a ‘Safecracker’ game, in which listeners are invited to guess a 4 digit number via SMS. If their entry is chosen (at random by Spoke on a daily basis), they are invited to air to provide their 4 digit guess as to the correct code. In July this year Spoke operated a ‘Reverse Auction’ game on our behalf – and provided a brand new MINI car to the winner.
